During my study program in Thailand, I was impressed by how different the learning environment was compared to South Korea. One thing that surprised me was the large number of practical lab classes and the strong emphasis on foundational knowledge from the first year. While in Korea, the focus is often on acquiring technical skills as quickly as possible, Thailand prioritizes understanding the fundamental principles behind those techniques first. Moreover, by researching and developing real products, students also learn about the principles of the production process, which allows them to naturally gain practical skills. I believe Korea should consider adopting a similar approach.
Visiting Thailand's traditional tourist attractions made me realize how deeply rooted in tradition the country is, and it provided me with a valuable opportunity to connect more closely with Thai culture. If I have the chance to visit Thailand again, I believe I could build upon the experiences from this program to have an even better one. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
