Research interests

Chemistry and material science
•Synthesis of natural products, organic compound and metal-organic compound and their chemical characterizations using spectroscopic methods (UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR, XRD, ICP-OES), electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), chromatography (GC, HPLC, TLC), dynamic light scattering (DLS) for size characterization


Biomedical and molecular biology
•Cell lines cultivation in cancer/normal cell research and cell-based therapy applications , ex vivo culture from human (PBMCs from blood separation, plasma) and their biological studies for cytotoxicity assay (e.g. MTT assay), cell characteristics (flow cytometry), morphology observation (inverted microscope, fluorescence imaging, confocal microscope by first time)
•Led proteomic approach looking for biomarkers and molecular mechanism using electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE, 2-DE, native PAGE), LC-MS/MS, western blot analysis, protein extraction/purification
•Genomics (DNA)/transcriptomics (RNA) using standard PCR, reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR), quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), primer design, agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction
•Bioinformatic tools in gene ontology analysis (PANTHER, ShinyGO) and protein-protein interaction (STRING, STITCH, pathway enrichment analysis)
•Computational methods in basic tool and knowledge for biomolecular docking (AutodockTools-1.5.7)
•Other techniques: Bacterial cell culture, intracellular metal uptake, use and maintenance general laboratory
